It hased caused me much confusion that gnutls does not handle client
certificates well, if they contain ca certificates together with the
client cert and key (at least that seems to be the case if the ca
certificate are listed *before* the client cert).
-triggers being called by a non-maintainer script. I still didn't
do proper research on what's happening here, as I mostly wanted to get
my updates done and the system into a usable state again.

I did an upgrade this weekend and libgpgme was upgraded from
libgpgme11 1.1.8-2 to 1.2.0-1.
Downgrading to libgpgme11 1.1.8-2 fixes the problem so this may be a
bug in libgpgme, not in mutt.

Justification: breaks unrelated software
The following proof-of-concept exploit (by dalias @ #screen on
freenode.net, realname not known, probably (hopefully) he's one of the
guys credited in the upstream security announcement)

I tried to import a directory listing from a mounted cd rom containing
several directories with music files (.mp3 and .vqf and some pictures)
with Generate thumbnails enabled. The cd also has several read
errors.

I've noticed that there is a considerable slowdown in scrolling speed
when lines contain ansi-color codes that change the background (!)
colour.
This slowdown is hardly noticeable on a reasonably fast machine, but
on my trusty old toshiba libretto
was first attached on my desktop, but it works in the other
direction (from my laptop to the desktop).
But this is probably not a bug, as the xmove manpage explains that
xmove is not supposed to work in all environments nor with all
programs...

that I wasn't using the v4l module,
as I didn't include the Xorg.0.log in my initial post.
So it appears the oopses and lockups only happen when the v4l
xserver module is not used.
And I can finally use xawtv again... :-)
