Perhaps some of the issues raised in bts.d.o#589916 can be addressed by
maintaining the debian source
in a git repository?
I think the point of having bind be v3 in the first place, and more so quilt,
is to help developers incorporate modifications to the current system. By
developers I refer also to prospector, perhaps occasional, helpers.
Do reconsider undoing move to 3.0 (quilt) source format.
