I managed to fix this (at least for the get_bugs case) but it required
changes
to python-debianbts package.
I have included two patches for feedback. There are some caveats:
* Other method calls need to be patched in reportbug/debbugs.py.
* pysimplesoap will use alternatve http transport librarie
debianbts.get_bugs does not support passing of proxy into SoapClient.
I would try to fix this but I am not sure right now of the correct approach.

TL;DR The problem appears to be related to binutils and not clang.
I am having the same problem as the submitter with Clang 3.5.0-9. Compiling
the following simple hello world program:

ith extra fixes included. This was really helpful to
tell that it's not a baseline version.
In the concrete case, I can make a run time check to see if the new
behaviour is needed or not. But that is not generally the case.
In terms of solution, I am not so sure yet, how f2 and f3 can be made to
differ, it is going to need a new upstream release. I hope to find a
solution during the week though.

The observation is quite correct. However, Saxon 6.5.5 is a mature
release (the last Saxon release on the XSLT 1.0 branch) and there are no
plans to issue any further maintenance releases on this branch unless
critical problems are found. This problem is not considered critical.

Udev should not cause this anymore.
Doing
udevadm test /class/block/sr0
should show what's actually called, and repeating the listed calls
manually, should show in the log what's causing the messages.

I take that back, tested it, devtmpfs works fine with the '!' magic.
The driver core translates the stuff already.
Looks like a different issue then. If you kill udevd, unload the
module, delete the possible remaining node, then load the module
again, what has devtmpfs created?

Upstream udev does not really support this. Kernel device names are
defined (and optionally created and deleted) by the kernel these days.
