If possible, one should also try to get the Debian lvm/dm udev rules as

Hopefully 2.02.74 is out in a few days, which brings some nice changes,

Nope. Host has a bridge configured in /etc/network/interfaces

I do run tagged VLANs on the bridge and so do the guests.

The tzfile.5 man page is very old, from before the Version 2
format of zoneinfo files was defined. Since version 2010j
of the upstream zoneinfo files, which is the version now used

Hi,
are there any news on this?
Today the same happend to one of my Debian/squeeze installations running:
nscd 2.10.2-6
My best guess is that the nscd FDs where running full after several days.
After all in my opinion this should be grave severity?
found the problem, I had an empty /usr/include/stddef.h as a workaround
for sparse, removing it made tcc work again.
(OT: where's /usr/include/stddef.h? apt-file is unable to find it,
but it *should* be somewhere!)

Thanks for figureing out the problem here :)
Important question not asked by now:
Will there be an upgrade to the current lenny kernel
with this fix applied?
Even though a workaround exists (using e1000), it would be nice to be
able to use virtio even with squeeze almost at the finish line... :)

Raise severity as asked for by the releaseteam as APT transition should
start asap now…
A patched aptitude can be compiled against new as well as old libapt

It's nowhere. stddef.h is compiler specific, and each compiler ships somewhere

I've removed dnsmasq from autostart and it's begin work.

The current limits to messages' size on Debian lists (TTBOMK around
60kB) prevents using the lists for review of localization work.
Particularly, very large translation files can't be sent as
attachments for review as this is done for smaller work.
