As of today, wheezy (testing) is up to date. I can access the ICC
profile manager via the system settings since some weeks now :)
Don't know what happend but the issue I reported is solved.

not a good idea for mx (used by cheese, evolution, totem) to depend
on it. For that reason, it looks like Ubuntu will be dropping the
dependency so that clutter-gesture won't have to be in Ubuntu

I just noticed that modprobe fails during system upgrade, when generting new
initrd image. It aborts then and dumps core.
