Hi,
I just added a patch to remove sysctl at all from the embedded hwloc.
The sysctl system call is not required by hwloc with Linux. LIKWID
currently supports only Linux systems, so the OS-differentiation ifdefs
are not required in ext/hwloc/include/private/autogen/config.h.
Greetings,
the problem its that seems here are two situations:
1) mentors removes the packages too soon or policies are ilogic!
2) seems uploaded to ftp package polls but not found? sponsored !?

I applied the first two changes (memmove and long->int) and doing so solved a
segfault problem on my x86_64 system.
They appear safe (memmove acts as memcpy except it handles overlap).
Please apply the patch!

Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I encountered a stack-smash error in apt-get caused by the contents of
the "Depends" header of one of my packages. While the crash occurred on
Ubuntu 14.04, the problem is still present in the apt sources as cloned
from git

I have this problem for Jessie (libpam-ssh version 2.01-2)
and Wheezy (version 1.92-15) as well.

Hello!
Thanks for reporting you need this. The fix has not been backported to
Jessie.
We need a good motivation which the ftp masters accept before we can push a
change to a stable release.
Please see the revised patch, which drops the redundant --prefix=/usr.

Nowadays dh_auto_configure passes all the needed paths to ./configure
