Find attached a patch that fixes three bugs (some of the older combined).
They are mostly maintenance fixes (quick and dirty) as packaging should be

Fusecompress was orphaned and is not in the archive anymore. You can take
it up again as a new maintainer

This is one of the reasons why I don't install tasks from the installer,
and one of the first things I do on a new system is to mark most
packages (especially libs) as automatically installed. I would be
grateful if a way could be found to improve this.
Thanks for your work on Debian,

Hi,
The dpatch patch management system has been deprecated for some time. The
Lintian currently flags use of dpatch packages as an error. The new 3.0
packaging format is an improved version which, among other things, contains

The attached aptch fixes some mistakes in the postinst script, including
syntax and logic errors, and catches the described error in a
quick'n'dirty way.
I strongly advice the maintainer to actually *test* their scripts before
uploading.--- ampache.postinst.orig 2012

Below is a report made via the Debian bug tracking system. I'm guessing
that when handling `..', ksh is trying to use what it previously knew to
be the path to the current directory whereas the other shells aren't
specifying a path.

Hi Todd,
I think it could be a good enhancement, in the coming days I will look
to the code and I'll ask the developer.
Thank you for the report.

While diffing between two Debian squeeze chroots (one created by
deboostrap, the other by multistrap), I noticed that the multistrap
chroot leaves each package's .control files in /var/lib/dpkg/info/. I
suspect that this a bug, given th

Hello Ritesh et al,
currently Debian's fusecompress won't compress files with lzma. To this
effect, the changelog entry for version 2.6-2 contains the following note:

we've just uploaded Apache2 2.4.2-1 to experimental. We consider this

kThe bug report in ampache I referenced is unrelated. The Banshee bug
occurs in UI routines of Banshee while those in Ampache occur in UI
routines of Ampache.
When seeing the coincidental XML bugs in both programs when communicating,
I first thought it might be related.
Instead, both authors a

Hi Christoph,
Is it worth giving cmor back to the kfreebsd-amd64 buildd's (more than
once, if necessary), as it does succeed about 50% of the time.
The netcdf 4.1.4 transition is held up by this. If it works, we won't
have to worry so much about fixing it right now, or the problem may even

I found that the bug is unrelated to the RPC API. I believed that first
because it confluenced with a bug in Banshee, also regarding XML, but they
are unrelated.
However, why the UI code is run upon receiving an RPC call is a complete
mytery to me.
