Thanks Kurt, on further investigation I realize that the ntpdate package
does not distribute an ntp.conf file, blank or otherwise. I think the

Package: ntpdate
Version: 1:4.2.4p4+dfsg-8
Severity: normal
The default configuration shipped with ntpdate is NTPDATE_USE_NTP_CONF=yes, but
a blank /etc/ntp.conf file. ntpdate does not depend on the ntp package, which
distributes a non-blank /etc/ntp.conf
The ntpdate-debian script works great
Package: acpi-support
Version: 0.109-11
Severity: normal
After freshly installing Lenny and acpi-support on an EeePC 1000HA, the volume
buttons do not work. I think this is because the model reported by DeviceConfig
is 1000H. After adding 1000H to if-asus-eee.sh, the volume buttons work.

Sander Marechal reports that mod_rewrite does not find the value on in
the %{HTTPS} server variable when HTTPS is enabled with mod_gnutls:

I confirmed that this behavior still exists in mod_gnutls trunk revision

until you reboot. You should reboot your computer before doing
anything with /dev/md1.
so either there really are two bugs or this is not really a problem
with reusing disks with old RAID and swap partitions on them.

I have the same problem. Do you know if its going to be fixed (added
feature) in future?
I respectfully suggest that this bug should be ranked Serious or Grave.
Because of this bug, it is possible to unknowingly send GPG-signed
emails which are garbled. That defeats the entire purpose of
GPG-signing. That is definitely a serious bug.
I have found that the garbling sometimes takes
As several people have pointed out, there is already a good way (that I was not
aware of) to find out this information, therefore I agree that this bug should
be closed.
