Could this bug get fixed soonish? We still can't build VLC on the affected
architectures because of this particular bug.
In my tests, removing the paragraph worked perfectly fine and still made
"nocheck" work.

Could you include James' patch to fix GRUB on sparc64 with GPT
partition tables in the next upload?
Without the patch, GRUB is broken on these configurations.

Looks like they apply the fix conditionally on Solaris only
nux/sparc64 machines, I can also install build dependencies if you need them.
The machine used for the gcc compile farm is also much faster than kyoto.
