Why should I add patches which only apply if the project is compiled

Package: easymp3gain-gtk

If you try to add a folder to the list which contains audio files that
aren't writable or which are hidden,
easymp3gain-gtk crashes with a SEGFAULT.

Hi!
The GeoGebra devs asked me to remove all copies of GeoGebra from GetDeb.net
and to close my attempts to package it for Ubuntu, cause they don't want
any GeoGebra package maintained by someone who is not a GG developer.
The GPL grants the right to ditribute GeoGebra and to repackage and mainain
Is something going on on this bug?
It would be excellent if we had PackageKit packaged on Debian too. A
solution for debconf is also in progress!

Okay, I created a patch which _may_ fix this bug. I have no SPARC
architecture here to test it :-P
I submitted this patch to upstream, he implemented it. I also created a bug
report for lazbuild, cause my patch is only a workaround, the real problem
still exists in lazbuild.
A new package which fix
Hello!
Is this a "must-be-done"-bug? Cause it can be a bug in Lazbuild, which can
only be fixed with a new version of Lazarus IDE...
I will backtrack this strange bug, but because there are no debuginfos,
this will be hard...
If it's not possible to solve this bug, can I exclude easyMp3Gain from

ectM. The old "libprojectm" package only
exists cause libprojectm-data has been renamed to projectm-data. (So DAK is
not able to mark the old pkg as to-be-removed)
Upgrading to the new packaging of projectM is possible without any
problems.
Kind regards

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure about this, if testing is in freeze.
Thanks!

I packaged it and brought the package in a good shape for Debian. But
there are some showstopping bugs l
Hi!
Now, since the Debconf-Issue is in progress and will be resolved soon, is
there something left blocking a PackageKit inclusion into Debian?
(I'd like to see packagekit in main ^^)

Hi!
Thanks for the explanation and the patch! It has been applied on our Git
repository and will be uploaded to Debian with PK 0.6.12-2, which is
currently blocked for unstable. (We need a higher version of GIR than
available in Sid) Maybe I will be pushed to experimental :)
Cheers,
Matthias

Oh... The proper fix for this would be in dpkg to call debconf and handle
the conffile with debconf then. I talked to the APTcc maintainer and he
said that someone at UDS said he would commit a fix for that.
We can create a workaround for aptcc to detect conffile and ask using
