Was #287189 closed by mistake? The original report (now reassigned to
initrd-tools) is that mkinitrd looks for /bin/discover. According to
the changelog, the discover program is now at /sbin/discover. So
presumably mkinitrd may still need to be fixed?

alsa-modules-2.4.X-Y-FLAV now have metapackages alsa-modules-2.4-FLAV
just like those for kernel-image packages. It would be helpful to
users if the kernel-image metapackages Suggested the alsa-modules
metapackages.
