Bug#427141: Your ITA of adonthell

2008-05-30 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

Barry deFreese [EMAIL PROTECTED] (30/05/2008):
Hello. I have a working updated package of adonthell and adonthell-data
so I am wondering if you are still going to adopt them? If not, I will
adopt them for the Games Team and you are, of course, welcome to join us.

I never ITAed adonthell, I only fixed the missing owner.

Cheers,

Bug#477363: tomcat5.5 5.5.26-1 can not start

2008-05-24 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

Michael Koch [EMAIL PROTECTED] (25/04/2008):
That helps a lot. I was able to reproduce the bug and commited a fix to
our SVN. I want to do some other fixes and then upload new version of
 tomcat5.5.

Shouldn't the severity of this bug be grave? A tomcat server that
doesn't start is just a unusable server. Now both lenny and unstable are
affected.

Bug#480092: submitter address changed (fixing wnpp bugs)

2008-05-24 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

Vincent Danjean [EMAIL PROTECTED] (24/05/2008):
According to discussion, Timothy is not interested to maintain in the
the long term this package (linbox). If you look carefully, you will see
it posts a RFP and not an ITP.
I would not have been surprised if Timothy would like to take care of this
package a few weeks (I tell him that it would be difficult for me to manage
this package before a few weeks) but I do not understand why you make this
change. Do you speak with Timothy ? Please, tell me why you do this.

See http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index, especially:
RFP If you are going to package this, retitle the bug report to
replace RFP with ITP, in order for other people to know the
program is already being packaged, and set yourself as the owner
of the bug. Then package the software, upload it and close this
bug once the package has been installed.
and what I have done:
#ITP without owner, mixed owner and submitter
submitter 480092 Timothy G Abbott [EMAIL PROTECTED]
owner 480092 Vincent Danjean [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Timothy submitted the bug, he is the _submitter_ of the bug. You want
to package linbox, you are the _owner_ of the bug.

2008-04-24 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Michael Koch [EMAIL PROTECTED] (24/04/2008):
Before applying any patch I would like to be able to reproduce the
issue. What did you actually did in which order and which java packages
are installed? Did you installed tomcat5.5 from scratch or did you
 updated it?

It was an update, but I just tried on another computer with a clean
install, I have the same problem.

Can you check the content of MANIFEST.MF in
/usr/share/tomcat5.5/bin/bootstrap.jar, especially:
  Class-Path: jmx.jar commons-daemon.jar commons-logging-api-1.1.1.jar t
   omcat-juli.jar

I don't have any commons-logging-api-1.1.1.jar in
/usr/share/tomcat5.5/bin/, but a commons-logging-api.jar which is a
symlink to /usr/share/java/commons-logging-api.jar.

I guess one of the reason you can't reproduce the bug might be because
you have a /usr/share/tomcat5.5/bin/commons-logging-api-1.1.1.jar which
does not belong to any package.

Note that MANIFEST.MF of tomcat 5.5.25 does contain the right
Class-Path.

Hope that helps.

Bitcollider is a small program to reliably identify and describe files

Hi,

Thomas Huriaux [EMAIL PROTECTED] (13/12/2006):
Please use gettext-based debconf templates to allow translations, as
recommended by the developers-reference (section 6.5.2.2). See
po-debconf(7). There is also a lintian warning:
   W: grub2 source: not-using-po-debconf
If you need additional help to do this switch, do not hesitate to ask me

Bug#422325: radiusd-livingston: Debconf abuse

Hi,

Christian Perrier [EMAIL PROTECTED] (05/05/2007):
A dedicated check is included in lintian so that future uses of low and
medium priority note templates are discouraged. So, if you
wish you package to be lintian-clean, then you need to fix this..:-)

Note that the templates are not installed in the binary package

lintian warnings.

This bug is only annoying for translators who think they should translate
the templates while this is pointless as never displayed to users (and
indeed, there are more than 10 open l10n bugs).

Bug#330542: Switch to po-debconf?

Bug#386703: insserv: Please switch to gettext-based debconf templates

Hi,

Petter Reinholdtsen [EMAIL PROTECTED] (09/09/2006):
 [Thomas Huriaux]
Please use gettext-based debconf templates to allow translations, as
recommended by the developers-reference (section 6.5.2.2).

I am aware of this, but do not want to make the question (which is
well hidden and not easy to enable) translatable yet. The feature in
question need more work before it stabilizes, and I do not want to
waste the time of translators before that.

The i18n support in all debconf-using packages being a release goal for
Lenny (http://release.debian.org/lenny-goals.txt), I'm raising the
severity to important.

There is of course no urgency to fix this bug, as long as it is fixed
long enough before the release of Lenny so that translators have time to
translate the template.

Bug#403803: pine: Please switch to gettext-based debconf templates

should we just stay away from that package?

 You should stay away, really.

In addition to being non-free, there are two additional reasons why I
think this should not be done, as it would be a complete waste of time:

 a) It is likely that pine will eventually be replaced by alpine
 (once alpine is mature enough).

 b) There should be a mta-base package on which packages like this
may depend, so that we do not duplicate the same debconf questions
about /etc/mailname and /etc/news/server over and over again
in every package managing those files.

The i18n support in all debconf-using packages being a release goal for
Lenny (http://release.debian.org/lenny-goals.txt), I'm raising the
severity to important.

In the case of pine, there are 3 different ways to fix the package,
depending on what comes first:
* Lenny is released: the switch must be done long enough before to give
time to translators to translate the package.
* A mta-base package is created: pine-tracker/note must be switched to
po-debconf (or moved to a News.Debian file, as it is really close to a
debconf abuse). The two other templates will then be removed.
* alpine replaces pine: this bug will be closed together with other
  pine's bugs.

Bug#440410: screen: Please remove the debian/po directory

Bug#439508: lintian: Various updates for the debconf writing style checks

2007-08-25 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Package: lintian
Version: 1.23.34
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

Hi,

Attached is a patch to improve the debconf writing style checks:

+  if ($template-{choices} =~ /^\s*(yes\s*,\s*no|no\s*,\s*yes)\s*$/i) {
+  tag select-with-boolean-choices, $template-{template};
+  }

New check to avoid select templates with only a yes/no choice.

-  if ($short  $short !~ m/:$/) {
+  if ($short  ($short !~ m/:$/ || $short =~
m/^(what|who|when|where|which|how)/i)) {
   tag malformed-prompt-in-templates, $template-{template};
   }

Some maintainers, when seeing the malformed-prompt-in-templates, just
replace the question mark by a colon. This fix should catch most of
them.

-  if (defined ($extended)  $extended =~ /\?/) {
- tag using-question-in-extended-description-in-templates,
$template-{template};
-  }
+  }
+  if (defined ($extended)  $extended =~ /\?/) {
+ tag using-question-in-extended-description-in-templates,
$template-{template};
   }

See
http://cvs.debian.org/ddp/manuals.sgml/developers-reference/developers-reference.sgml?root=debian-docr1=1.324r2=1.325

 if (defined $template-{description}) {
-if ($template-{description} =~
/(\A|\s)(I|[Mm]y|[Ww]e|[Oo]ur|[Oo]urs|mine|myself|ourself|me|us) /) {
+if ($template-{description} =~
/(\A|\s)(I|[Mm]y|[Ww]e|[Oo]ur|[Oo]urs|mine|myself|ourself|me|us)(\Z|\s)/) {
 tag using-first-person-in-templates, $template-{template};

Bug#438091: docbookwiki: Please switch to gettext-based debconf templates

2007-08-15 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Package: docbookwiki
Version: 0.9.1cvs-2
Severity: serious
Tags: l10n
Justification: http://release.debian.org/lenny-goals.txt

Hi,

Please use gettext-based debconf templates to allow translations. This
can be easily done with the following commands:
$ cd debian
$ debconf-gettextize templates
$ rm templates.old

I would also split the docbookwiki/reconfigure_webserver choice (by
using __Choices: instead of _Choices:) and would not mark as
translatable the docbookwiki/setup_password default (by using Default:
instead of _Default:). You will then have to run debconf-updatepo to
keep the pot file up-to-date.

Cheers,

Bug#429330: pppconfig: Please do not Replaces new versions of manpages-fr

2007-06-17 Thread Thomas Huriaux

Severity: normal

Hi,

As said in #418350, you should only
  Replaces: manpages-fr ( 2.39.1-5)
and not every version of manpages-fr.

This replace field is only to override the pppconfig manpage found only
in old versions of manpages-fr.
Even if it doesn't change anything in practice, replacing every version
of manpages-fr can hide potential problems in further versions of our
two packages.

Bug#418350: fixed in pppconfig 2.3.16

2007-05-10 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

John Hasler [EMAIL PROTECTED] (09/05/2007):
Could you please explain why you removed the manpage instead of using a
  replace field as suggested...

 I don't see that pppconfig replaces manpages-fr.

See policy 7.5.1.

In any case, If a French
man page for pppconfig is in manpages-fr why should I bloat pppconfig with
another?. It's bloated enough with translations as it is.

The French pppconfig manpage is only present in the sarge manpages-fr
package.

...and why you uploaded in unstable instead of etch-proposed-updates?

Because I was not aware that I was expected to do otherwise. Why would it
 not be wanted in Unstable?

Because this bug is not present neither in unstable nor in testing. It
affects only sarge - etch transitions.

Doesn't that depend on your locale setting? If you have fr_FR.UTF-8,
won't you need utf-8 encoded manpages? Should we create both
encodings, and put the UTF-8 ones in /usr/share/man/fr.UTF-8 and the
 ISO8859-1 ones in /usr/share/man/fr.ISO8859-1? After all, ISO8859-1
is considered as a legacy encoding nowadays.

No, see /src/encoding.c in the man-db source package and #196762.

Attached is the full translation update made by Sylvain Cherrier and
proofread by the debian-l10n-french list contributors. These file should
replace those in the root directory of your package. That would be great
to have these translations in Etch.

I will follow up (hopefully tomorrow) in #260526 with a full patch
fixing the po4a infrastructure of your package. The current one is
broken and therefore cannot be used neither by you nor by translators.
As this requires major changes, this should of course be done post-Etch.

Bug#402657: tagging bugs that are closed by packages in NEW as pending

2007-03-04 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

Anibal Monsalve Salazar [EMAIL PROTECTED] (01/03/2007):
 # the following bugs are closed by packages in NEW
 tags 402655 pending

Seeing this bug marked as pending and having seen nothing neither on
debian-i18n nor on debian-l10n-french, I checked out the cvs version of
dtc just to see how you handled this bug and #402657.

* the first sentence of the extended description of the first template in
  dtc.templates is:

Enter the hostname or ip do you want to use to connect to your MySQL
server.

this sentence does not mean anything, I stopped reading further.

* the first string translated in the debian/po/fr.po is

 msgid MySQL hostname:
msgstr Nom de l'hôte MySQL :

there is a missing unbreakable space. OK, this string is marked as
fuzzy, so I jumped to the first really translated string:

msgid DTC database name:
msgstr Nom de la base de donnée DTC :

there is also a missing unbreakable space, as well as a missing s to
  donnée. I stopped reading further.

So, before uploading any new package, please follow the following
steps:

* ask for review on debian-l10n-english of all your templates.
* once your templates are written in correct english, ask for
translations on debian-i18n (you can use for example the
  podebconf-report-po tool).
* if you do yourself some translations (especially the French one), do
coordinate with Debian localization teams. They usually use
well-defined consistency rules. The easiest way is even to ask the
team to do the translation for you.
* once you have waited a long-enough time for updated translations, you
can then upload a new package.

Releasing templates in such a bad state is very problematic, as some
other translation teams will start to work on templates of a very poor
quality. That means they will just lose their time, but that's what
happens when doing uncoordinated uploads.

Bug#402657: tagging bugs that are closed by packages in NEW as pending

2007-03-04 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Thomas Goirand [EMAIL PROTECTED] (04/03/2007):
Thanks for the follow-up. To what list should I ask exactly, and how can
I make sure to have my spelling checked?

For English, debian-l10n-english@lists.debian.org (you should send your
template files as an attachment).

For French, debian-l10n-french@lists.debian.org (attaching the po file).

There are similar lists for other languages, the easiest way is to send
a call for translations on [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'm a poor writer, and my software itself would also need to be checked,
as it's fully translatable. Any help for the *strings.php files of the
APP itself would be as well very appreciated.

You should probably rework your internationalisation infrastructure using
appropriate tools (gettext, po4a, ...). Having all translations within a
single file is really not convenient for translators, and will soon
become a nightmare for you if you have to manage string updates.

I was going to fill a second bug for the broken debconf templates:
while installing your package,

debconf: Unknown template field '_description', in stanza #2 of
/var/lib/dpkg/info/php4-idn.templates

and debconf displays an empty yes/no question.

However, after having a closer look at it, this is in fact the same
issue, as dh_installdebconf fails due to the missing debian/po/

po2debconf-ized one.

Bug#408356: manpages-fr-extra: Error for the description of %c and %C options in man(1) find

2007-01-25 Thread Thomas Huriaux
tag 408356 pending
thanks

Hi,

Nicolas STRANSKY [EMAIL PROTECTED] (25/01/2007):
In the find.1 manpage, %c and %C options are translated with exactly the
same phrase as %t and %T, whereas it should include a description about
the fact that %c and %C reflect the file's _status_ modification time,
and not only the file modification time. This is also true for the
-ctime option, which could include a precision about this.
So the translation could be this:

%c Date de dernière modification du statut du fichier, dans le
 format renvoyé %par la fonction C « ctime ».
%CkDate de dernière modification du statut du fichier, dans le
format spécifié %par k, comme pour la directive %A.

 And for -ctime:
 -ctime n
Date de dernière modification du statut du fichier il y a n*24 heures.
Consultez l’explication concernant -atime pour comprendre comment
les effets d’arrondis altèrent l’interprétation de la date de
 dernière modification du fichier.

Thanks for your report, this has been fixed in our svn.

Bug#407215: auctex: Wrong debian/po/POTFILES.in

2007-01-20 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

Davide G. M. Salvetti [EMAIL PROTECTED] (20/01/2007):
fant Thomas Huriaux [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:
The main problem with this bug is that it forces translators to
understand your build system if they want to check their PO files.

I'd like to know what exactly do translators need to check their new PO
files. Please, Thomas, I'd ask you to describe what you usually do when
you add a new po file to a package and what you would like the build
system to do for you. While you answer, please, do not assume that
every package maintainer should act the way most of them do, just state
what's your customary way to work as a translator (if it helps you, give
me a list of actions, like: I copy the templates.pot file to
LANG.po, translate it, then a issue a debian/rules whatever while
pouring my cup of tee, ..., and so on, and so forth).

Here is what I do:
- fetch the source package with apt-get source package
- run debconf-updatepo to be sure to work on an up-to-date templates.pot
- copy templates.pot into fr.po
- translate fr.po
- run debconf-updatepo to be sure that I haven't modified accidentaly
  a msgid
- send the fr.po for proofreading on debian-l10n-french (this process is
  around one week)
- apply the patches received
- once this process is finished, I check if there has been new versions
of the package during the proofread process, if so, I download the new
source package and run debconf-updatepo to see if the file is still
up-to-date. I usually even do it without checking if there has been
  new versions.
- send the file to the BTS

So, as I run 3 times debconf-updatepo in a normal translation process,
I'd like to not have to understand the build system of every package I
translate :-)

course, it is not as problematic as I thought before.
The other minor problem is that it gives false-positives in our i18n
  infrastructure :-)
  (see http://www.debian.org/intl/l10n/po-debconf/errors-by-pkg)

I think you should follow lintian example and allow maintainers to
override the result of your checks if needed. Nobody knows better than
the maintainer (with the help of bug submitters) if the package is
 right.

I agree, but this is the first false-positive I've found. And it's
even not a full false-positive, as it is recommended to not extract
the strings from a generated file.

Thanks for your answer and for your work,

 Or rather not:

 $ fakeroot debian/rules debian/po/templates.pot

   -I /home/frank/src/Packages/auctex/auctex-11.83/debian/ -P -o
 debian/auctex/templates debian/auctex/templates.in

You're no longer extracting strings from the source file but from a
generated file. I had not seen that yesterday, but I think you are
misusing the POTFILES.in file when you do:

DCSOURCES := $(shell cat debian/po/POTFILES.in \
| perl -pe 's|^\[[^]]+\] +(.*)$$|debian/$${1}|')

The main problem with this bug is that it forces translators to
understand your build system if they want to check their PO files. Of
course, it is not as problematic as I thought before.
The other minor problem is that it gives false-positives in our i18n
infrastructure :-)
(see http://www.debian.org/intl/l10n/po-debconf/errors-by-pkg)

If there is a problem, it is rather that the file is not updated in any
of the regular targets (clean, build, or binary). I think the clean
 target is the right thing?

Yes, the clean target is the right one, as it is the only one that
allows you to have an up-to-date source package in a standard build
process.

The reason to close this bug is that is has been fixed. The problem
was that I included information using debconf that didn't need to be
 there.

All of the qmail-src debconf entries did not fit the policy, and have
 been removed.

I am the package maintainer, and I am allowed to make decisions on
what information is included and displayed when the package is
installed. I have decided that my previous use of debconf has been
deprecated, and therefore, I have no further use for debconf. In
fact, I have removed all dependency on debconf from qmail-src.

Sure, but my patch is for the debconf system used by the *qmail binary*
package, not the qmail-src one.

Hi,

Jon Marler [EMAIL PROTECTED] (01/11/2006):
Go and get the latest qmail-src package. That patch won't even apply to it.
Check qmail-src version -40. Most of that has already been done. I can
probably close those bugs without any additional modifications even necessary.

I don't see any reason to close this bug. If you don't want to fix this

In order to have this bug fixed, I wrote a full patch. Here are my
comments on the debconf templates, as the rest just depends on these
fixes:

- the qmail-upgrade manpage, which details user-visible differences between
- sendmail and qmail.

This one should go to the inline documentation.

 Template: qmail/start
-Type: select
-Choices: yes, no
-Description: Do you want to start qmail now?
-
-Template: qmail/reboot
-Type: note
-Description: Qmail will be started at the next reboot.

+ If you do not want to start qmail now, it will be started at the next
+ reboot. You can also start qmail manually when you are ready by typing
+ (as root) /etc/init.d/qmail start at a shell prompt.

These two templates should be merged so that the user knows what will
happen if he/she chooses no.
A yes/no select choice is a boolean template.

These templates should go to a NEWS.Debian file. However, as 1.03
appears with Potato, they can simply be removed (Slink - Etch

Bug#194712: oops: no useful description of the format option

2007-01-13 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Hi,

Bernd Eckenfels [EMAIL PROTECTED] (27/05/2003):
On Tue, May 27, 2003 at 10:19:04AM +0200, Michael Zehrer wrote:
I will provide more Information on this with the next upload, explaining
the difference between fist creation/formatting of the sample storage and
  optional formatting with upgrades/reconfigure.

the question is, if you need it at all:

 a) in fresh install - format data files
 b) on upgrade: if format is compatible do not format it

 - only if the format is not compatible you may ask this.

If you ask this question always what should i do on a future update, if the
format is incompatible this may be quite confusing. On the other hand, it
is better, cause then the decision can be remembered.

I strongly agree, the description of the oops/format is currently
meaningless:
* it should only be displayed if there are existing storage files.
* I don't know about compatibility, but if the statement of Bernd is
correct, it should only be displayed if formats are not compatible.
* the extended description should then be rephrased to tell the user that
existing storage files have been found on the system and that
reformatting them will erase previous data. It should be introduced by
explaining what are these storage files used for (i.e. what kind of
data the user may not want to loose).

Furthermore, in your postinst script, you echo:
  storage file generated.
Your debconf description should be consistent with this echo:
* storages files (short description) is a typo.
* storage files (long description): is there one or more storage file?

For example, I would rephrase as following:

 _Description: Format oops storage file?
Oops uses the file /var/spool/oops/storages/oops_storage to store the
  data used as...
  .
Such a file already exists on your system and need to be reformatted
in order for oops to work correctly. Reformatting this file will erase
all the previous data stored in it. If you do not want to loose these
data, you should not choose this option, backup this file, and
regenerate it by running as root:
  .
/usr/sbin/oops -z -c /etc/oops/oops.cfg

2007-01-05 Thread Thomas Huriaux
tag 405708 pending
thanks

Hi,

Samuel Thibault [EMAIL PROTECTED] (05/01/2007):
The french translation of bash(1) is truncated to
« Vrai si le fichier_1 et le fichier_2 se réfèrent au même
périphérique et ont les mêmes numéros d'i-n »

It looks like the 'œ' character poses problem here.

Yes, this is a known problem already fixed in our svn. I will upload a
new package just before the release of Etch.

Thanks for your report.

Cheers,

 Quoting Thomas Huriaux [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
Note also that once this is fixed, you should update the description of
  the qmail-src package.

I am not exactly sure what pbuilder is doing here, but I don't get the same
behavior when executing debian/rules binary to build -*just*- the qmail-src
package. If you are trying to build the qmail package as well, you will have
 to have the users. Period.

I am not trying to build the qmail package, I am trying to build the
only package listed in debian/control, i.e. the qmail-src package.
It still fails.

See Steve's answer:
The problem seems to be that your debian/rules is misusing the
binary-arch and binary-indep targets for purposes other than building
  the packages listed in debian/control.

qmail is not an official Debian package. qmail-src is an official
 Debian non-free package.

I believe that the problem here is that your default invocation of pbuilder is
attempting to build both the qmail-src and the qmail packages, which are two
 separate things.

I did find where attempting to build the qmail-src package would require the
users, and I have fixed that bug. It appears that you are now reporting the
same error, with a different package, that is not part of Debian.

Please separate out the two. As far as I can tell, I have fixed the bug in
qmail-src. The remaining complaint about the qmail package is moot, as qmail
 is not part of Debian.

Also, I do not see where or why I need to update the description of the
qmail-src package. Update what exactly? If you want a change in the
description, please file a different bug report.

Because
If you try apt-get source --build qmail-src it will most likely fail
because the users do not exist. You MUST install the qmail-src
  package first.
won't be true anymore once your package is fixed. This seems to be
closely related enough to not deserve a new bug.

I'd rather have it in the package itself but it requires modifications
to the automake files to integrate it which are painful to carry around.
I'm trying to push upstream to include it but he's a bit random about
 what he responds to.

Do you need a full switch to po4a? That's the only proven way to keep
manpages up-to-date, and the usual argument against translated manpages
is that they are never up-to-date. A full patch could help the upstream
maintainer to accept localized manpages.

In any case, there's no way this can be looked at again before etch.

No problem, we are not in a hurry. I was just cleaning out a bit French
l10n bugs.

Hi,

While installing your package, the installation stops with a (critical)
debconf note saying:

If you are upgrading from an old (= 1.3.0) version of CIPE...

You should use
  dpkg --compare-versions
to avoid displaying this note if the user is not upgrading from one of
these problematic versions.

Moreover, as far as I can see, there has never been a 1.3 version in
Debian (or this was previous to woody). This note can therefore simply
be removed.

Bug#403388: Suggested way of softly disabling debconf notes

2006-12-16 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Package: debconf
Version: 1.5.10
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

Most of debconf notes are annoying as they are not related with
package configuration and force the user to press enter many times
during the installation. As a few debconf notes are still mandatory to
have a working system, I suggest to add a configuration option to allow
the user to choose whether he/she wants to see these usage notes,
displaying only critical notes otherwise.

The attached patch is probably very incomplete, I prefer to have
some feedback on the idea before working too much on it.

Cheers,

?

I was trying to build the qmail-src package from the Debian qmail source
package, not the real qmail package from the qmail-src package. I
don't understand why an automated debianization requires existing users
to succeed. Or I may not have understood the purpose of the qmail-src
package.

Note also that if it is a known issue that you don't want to fix, you
should mark the bug as wontfix instead of closing the bugs. I never
parse closed bugs before reporting a current issue (and I don't believe
being the only one acting like that). This will avoid this popping up

po-debconf(7). There is also a lintian warning:
W: dtc source: not-using-po-debconf
If you need additional help to do this switch, do not hesitate to ask me
  or to ask on debian-i18n.

Just wanted to follow up on this to tell that there is an
internationalization version having both fr, it and de language sitting
in our CVS. I'm currently working on having this version ready to be
uploaded, it's going to be in mentors.d.n soon.

No problem, it's mainly to track all these packages through the i18n
infrastructure that I'm submitting these kind of bugs quickly.

Please also note that many l10n teams have a QA process for
translations. As I assume you did the French translation yourself, you
should really ask for reviews on debian-l10n-french (I don't know for
the other languages).

Cheers,

Bug#402798: poker-network: [INTL:fr] French debconf templates translation update

2006-12-12 Thread Thomas Huriaux
Package: poker-network
Version: 1.0.31-1
Severity: wishlist
Tags: l10n patch

Hi,

Please find attached the French debconf templates translation update,
proofread by the debian-l10n-french contributors. This file should be
put as debian/po/fr.po in your package source tree.
Note that translations update are allowed during the freeze, so I expect
to see this translation in Etch :-)

Cheers,
