I had some serious issues with my scanner systems, when using the command:
pct-scanner-script --config lineart2 --clean form a xterm it all works
perfect.
But when using the commnad:

I suppose it will be safer to wait for debbuild on sparc. It was an arch bug,
and we could fall on another bug like this. If you could test on sparc you
could close it.

The postinst of fuse-utils creates the group fuse and sets the
permissions of fusermount to root:fuse 4754. Before that happens,
fusermount has the permissions specified in the deb, namely root:root
4755. Thus, during the installation of fuse,

The default behavior of ImageMagick is to increase the image depth if any
pixels are modified. This makes sense to us because an 8-bit image when
resized, for example, goes from 8-bits to 16-bits (assuming IM Q16) because
of the blended colors. To force 8-bit output,

The patch has been applied to the Subversion trunk. Its possible its in the
ImageMagick 6.4.8-3 release. If not, it will be part of the pending 6.4.8-4
release.
