Bug#760826: [Pkg-fonts-devel] Bug#760826: fonts-georgewilliams: The default system Monospace font is replaced by fonts-georgewilliams package

2014-09-10 Thread Francesca Ciceri
[upstream cc-ed]

Hi Frederic,

thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

I totally missed it when creating the package :/.

 Dear Maintainer,

After the update of ttf-georgewilliams package from 1.0-5 to 20031023-1, the
 new packet fonts-georgewilliams is installed.

This package contains a font called Monospace that replaces the default
 Monospace system font.

 /usr/share/fonts/truetype/fonts-georgewilliams/Monospace.ttf

This Monospace is used in consoles or Icedove when no font is specified.

After removing the package fonts-georgewilliams the font console is back to
 normal.

You should not use the name Monospace for your font, because it replaces the
 system font.

Ideally, this should be better fixed by upstream (and this is why I'm
cc-ing George Williams here).

@George: any chance to have the FontName, FullName and FamilyName of the
Monospace font [1] changed to something less confusing for system
settings? Like, maybe GWMono?

Thanks,
Francesca

Bug#760966: [Pkg-fonts-devel] Bug#760966: fonts-georgewilliams: the monospace font contains ligatures

2014-09-09 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Hi Adam,

thanks for taking the time to report this.

On Tue, Sep 09, 2014 at 04:52:20PM +0200, Adam Borowski wrote:

 Package: fonts-georgewilliams

The monospace font has ligatures for some often occuring combinations,
including st, ff and fi, and these are crammed within 1 character
cell. This not only looks ugly, making text hard to read, but also breaks
alignment, displacing everything after such a ligature by 1 position.
A ligature of width 2 might be acceptable.

The basic rule for a fixed-pitch font is for every character to have width
of its wcwidth() (1, 2 for CJK, 0 for combining/specials). This font fails
 this requirement.

Ideally would be great to have this fixed upstream, this is why I'm
cc-ing George Williams (hopefully using the right mail address...).
As you can see here [1] this font hasn't been touched since 2002, so
it's a bit of a shot in the dark, but I'm trying anyway
:).

Also, this is quite nasty because fonts-georgewilliams installs itself as
the default system monospaced font on machines where it's installed.

This has been reported as #760826, which I'm going as well to forward
upstream as also in this case would be great to have the change made
directly there.

Cheers,
Francesca

Bug#712209: pulseaudio: getting no audio

2014-08-25 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Hi Felipe,

sorry for the extremely late reply, Real Life™ sidetracked me a bit :).

Sadly, in the meanwhile, my hard disk died. Not the best way to solve
the audio problem, but still... in the new installation audio works as
expected.

Feel free to close this bug if you think it's the case.

Thanks anyway for all your help and time and your work in Debian!

Cheers,
Francesca

Bug#709500: Documentation is non free

2014-08-16 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Hi,

I've taken a look at this bug as part of a BSP.

The documentation of your package is non free under gfdl with invariants
 sections.

 Particularly:
src/hackerlab/libhackerlab/libhackerlab.doc
src/tla/libarch/libarch.doc
src/build-tools/standards/standards.doc

While src/tla/libarch/libarch.doc is probably a false positive (as the
invariant sections there are only the licenses, which are already to be
considered invariant for their nature...), the other two are
problematic.

The removal of the package doesn't seem an option as, while being
orphaned and RC buggy, is still used by many users [1].

The repackage seems a good option, though, and in order to do it the
following bits need to be nuked from the .tar.gz:

/src/tla/libhackerlab
/src/build-tools/standards

I tried to do it, but I'm not much experienced in packaging, and it only
lead to failure in building the binaries. So I'm letting this to someone more
experienced.

Or, in alternative, we could simply migrate it to non-free.

Cheers,
Francesca

This is a bit confusing for me too ;). Perhaps the permission denied
results in pulseaudio not starting, and thus you get audio when there
 is no pulseaudio running?

Really no idea :) It's not clear to me, either, even if I'm trying to
isolate all the possible scenarios.
I'm sorry I cannot give more clear information: I'm afraid I really
don't understand what is suppose to happen nor what it's actually
happening.

What happens if you use aplay -D hw:1,0 -c 2 wavfile when pulseaudio
is not working? Do you get sound? Use aplay -l to find out a suitable
number to put after the hw: part, and try 1 and 2 for the -c option.

With aplay I get audio, even if pulseaudio is not working.

I used plughw: though, because hw: gave me an error (aplay:
set_params:1239: Channels count non available).

Also, when pulseaudio is not working, does pavucontrol show you
 anyhing in the output devices?

Yes, pavucontrol shows the bar moving in the output device and
playback tabs.

Many thanks for your help,

Bug#727167: fonts-junicode: debian/copyright may be out of date

2014-03-26 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Package: fonts-junicode
Tags: patch

Hi,

Indeed, according to upstream webpage [1] the font is released under a
Open Font License. I wasn't able, though to find the License itself - or
any mention of it - in the upstream tarball.
I also tried my luck with the Debian package repository, but beside the
copyright file, there is no indication of upstream choice of license.

As among the conditions of SIL Open Font License is to ship the license
itself with the font, I think this is a bug that should be (reported
and) fixed upstream.

In any case, I'm adding a patch for the debian/copyright file, in order
to fix at least the wrong license problem.

Cheers,
Francesca

Bug#734626: fonts-opendin: Typo in Menu Name of Font (Eng*sh*rift instead of Engschrift)

2014-03-25 Thread Francesca Ciceri
[cc-ing Paulo Silva, who's upstream for this font, because the problem
seems to originate from the upstream source]

Hi Ralph,

you're correct about the typo. The problem, though, is that the typo in
the font name appears to come from the upstream source.
You can verify it going to the homepage of the project [1],
downloading the .zip and unzipping it:

madamezou@malatesta:~/bugs$ unzip 107153-OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift.zip
Archive: 107153-OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift.zip
creating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/
inflating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/About.txt
inflating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/OFL.txt
inflating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/OpenDinSchriftenEngshrift.otf
inflating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/OpenDinSchriftenEngshrift.sfd
inflating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/OpenDinSchriftenEngshrift.svg
inflating: OpenDinSchriftenEngschrift/OpenDinSchriftenEngshrift.ttf

So: the archive and the directory names are correct, the filenames
and the metadata of the font contain the typo.
While it's certainly possible to fix it in the Debian package, maybe
it's even better if upstream fixes it directly in the source?

Cheers,
Francesca

it, I'm using awesome as window manager - if that is of any help).

If I switch to openjdk-6 with update-alternatives, everything's fine.

Let me know if you need more info.

Bug#673993: wiki.debian.org: please clarify the structure for DebianEvents/*

2012-05-22 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Hi Luca,

On Tue, May 22, 2012 at 02:41:58PM +0200, Luca Capello wrote:

While this is more a discussion internal to the Events Team, I would
like to raise it up to a broader audience (once and for all, even this
 is only a hope).

While I appreciate having discussion, I'd like to point out that the
*public* discussion on the issue you're reporting already exists:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-publicity/2012/03/msg00027.html

Next time, please check the mailing list first.
Don't want to sound rude, but what is the point in writing detailed mail
about changes done in the wiki/doc/webpages if even the members of the
team don't read it?

Currently, the entry page is DebianEvents [1]. I would have preferred
to simply have it as Events, for two reasons: we are on the Debian wiki
and most of the events Debian participate are not organized by Debian,
thus no distinction needed [2]. Nevertheless, this is a minor problem.

 [1] https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents
 [2] https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents#Detailed_information

Wait, I don't understand what you're saying it. I mean, yeah, we're on
the Debian wiki, and the events there are all Debian related. So, why is
it a problem to call the page Debian Events? Redundant?

That page has a structural problem, given that the information in the
section Adding a new event [3] do not reflect the links just after
that section. The current instruction advises to use the name
de/2012/LinuxTag (country code, year, event name), while OTOH the
links below are for events related to a language:

 * DebianEvents/de: Events in the German-speaking countries
 * DebianEvents/fr: Events in the French-speaking countries
 * DebianEventsNordic: Events in the Nordic region (i.e. Iceland, Norway,
   Sweden, Finland, Denmark)
 * DebianLatinoamerica/LocalMeetings: meetings in Latin American
   countries

 [3] https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents#Adding_a_new_event

Correct.
The re-organization of that page is in progress (as you can read in the
mail linked above, sent ~ 2 months ago :)).
I don't see any problem in changing this thing: it's a wiki, isn't it?
And you are part of the Events team, aren't you?
So, why not just s/countrycode/languagecode/ in the instructions, and
make the (past and future) events page consistent with this change?

Or if you want to discuss it why not replying on the relevant thread or
assuming you didn't noticed it, open a new one?

I could be horribly wrong, but I think that the BTS is not exactly the
preferred place to propose content changes for the wiki.

Thanks,

Francesca

Bug#669011: Diversity statement for the Debian Project

2012-04-16 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Tags: patch

Hi Stefano,

thank you for opening this report.

Attached is my patch for the new page about the diversity statement
(www.d.o/intro/diversity).
Wrt the very latest fixes proposed for the text of the statement,
I integrated the change proposed by Moray Allan [1] (i.e.
s/we value and encourage contributions/we equally value and encourage
contributions/).

I added also a paragraph on Useful contacts to the page and a footer
with a link to the website license page and some pointers to the drafting
process (just misses the link to the official approvation of the
statement, I guess it will be a mail from you on d-d-a?).

Cheers,

attached a patch. I just included unistd.h on a couple of files and -
beside some doxygen warning - the build now runs smoothly.

Cheers,

Francesca

Bug#663565: Please add a question in PP templates about the use of not DFSG-free services to package

2012-03-12 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Package: nm.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I recently noted that some Debian Developers are not aware of the
implications of using not DFSG-free services (as, for instance Google
Translate) in their packaging work.
The use of this kind of services is not really necessary - as we (in
Debian) have a very good i18n/l10n infrastructure - but still some
developers used them, in order to create drafts for translations.

It would great if a similar question could be added to the PP template:

would you use google translate to prepare a draft translation of
your program {manpage|po-debconf templates}?

Thank you very much,

Francesca

Bug#652631: www.debian.org: please clarify the distinction between 'events@d.o' and 'debian-events-*@lists.d.o'

2012-02-21 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Hi all,
sorry for the late reply on this important discussion: lately I was
really really busy (in real life) and I just did Debian work if cruelly
pinged ;).

First of all, just a correction:

On Mon, Dec 26, 2011 at 01:30:10AM +0100, Bernd Zeimetz wrote:
On 12/25/2011 11:11 PM, Arne Wichmann wrote:

  [8]
  http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/webwml/webwml/english/events/README?revision=1.8view=markup

I have not. Am I the only one to which this applies?

No. we often have people organizing stuff which are not DDs.

Not-DDs can be added to @debian.org alias: at least I was added
at events@d.o when I wasn't a DD yet, and the same happened for
cdvend...@debian.org.

Wrt organization: wiki is really useful for organizing stuff. And is also quite
easy to follow the organization process *if* you're aware of the
existence of the wikipage.

On Mon, Dec 26, 2011 at 01:30:10AM +0100, Bernd Zeimetz wrote:

May be the events team should - instead of founding itself - talk to those
people who are known to provide merch and booth material if they want to join
 and what they can provide?
[...]

Even better: the even team should consist of people from each
 d-events-$(locale)
list (probably those who are organizing a lot of stuff).

Oh!! Finally!
To make a long story short: I have no experience of organizing events,
for instance, and I'm in the events team just to do the promoting/www
part.
It's quite a while that me and Luca are talking about enlarge the team, to
include at least 1 person from each part-of-the-world where events are
more regularly organized.
This person need to be one who often organizes events/booths, so someone
with experience and who knows practical things about events.

Now, we usually have a lot of events in Europe mostly in the
German-speaking area, but also in France and UK.
Then we have few events in the US, some in Hispano
America and Brazil and a *lot* of events in India (thanks to the Debian
India group) and some in Taiwan.

I've thought about a couple of names for some of these areas (please fill the
list of possible candidates for this area, or propose yourself!), to be part of
the events team:

German-speaking area: Annette Kalbow, Arne Wichmann, Axel Beckert,
  Franziska Lichtblau

France-speaking area: Carl Chenet, Sylvestre Ledru
UK: ...
US: ...
Hispano America: Fernando Estrada, Gunnar Wolf
Brazil: Ana Caroll Comandulli, Marcelo Santana
India: Praveen Arimbrathodiyil
Taiwan: Andrew Lee

I think that having (at least) one person for each area in the events
team, acting as a proxy between the local organizers and the Debian
Project could be a good idea.
Again (to avoid misunderstanding) I think that decentralized organization
is the best option due to the fact that it works!™, but there are some
area where the Debian project could help:
promoting the events on internet, offering the Event Box and other
material, etc.
And this is actually the work to be done on the event team.
Just this :)

So, no problem (from my PoV) in let people organize events on specific
mailing lists and their languages, as far as there is a person who can
act as a proxy between local organizers and Debian.

If you all agree on this part, I'd really like to start to send some
invitation to the events team. ;)

Cheers

For maximum strength, GNU Backgammon needs a two-sided bearoff database,
used to evaluate positions in the end-game. This database takes up 6.6MB of
disk space and requires several minutes to generate on a reasonably fast
computer. GNU Backgammon is fully playable without this database, but will
use weaker heuristics for the end of the game.

 I tested with N900's built-in browser (mozilla-based, I think) and

Perfect with my Samsung Galaxy in landscape mode, while in portrait mode

Thanks for your effort on this :)

msgstr Configurare automaticamente cxref-cpp?

#. Type: boolean
#. Description

msgid cxref-cpp is a cpp-like program used by cxref for better comment
processing and support. Proper operation of cxref-cpp requires configuration
against the gcc and cpp versions you have installed on your system. These of
course may change with each upgrade. This package can attempt to automatically
keep track of your installed gcc and cpp versions and reconfigure cxref-cpp
accordingly, or it can leave such configuration up to you. In the latter case,
you can run /usr/bin/cxref-cpp-configure as root whenever you wish, and/or you
can edit the file /etc/cxref/cxref-cpp.defines by hand. In the former case,
the defines file will be automatically updated every time the cxref package is
reconfigured. In addition, cxref-cpp will detect any gcc version mismatch at
runtime and regenerate a temporary cxref-cpp.defines file on the fly, warning
the user of the situation.
msgstr cxref-cpp è un programma simile a cpp usato da cxref per migliorare
l'elaborazione e il supporto dei commenti. Affinché cxref-cpp funzioni in modo
In quest'ultimo caso, basterà
situazione.

Attached is a patch which changes some CSS parameters when the page
is displayed on a small device. The definition of small is
somewhat arbitrary taken to mean a device, whise horizontal size is
  no more tham 50em.

The home page can be seen in action with the patch applied at
 http://people.debian.org/~dmn/www.d.o/index.en.html

Hi Damyan,
thanks for working on this one!

Your patch is perfect: getting of rid of the overlapping of the Download
and the Search thingies and provide a little more space for text.
On my Samsung Galaxy in landscape mode the page is definitely good, less
on portrait mode but still acceptable.
I'm not completely sure on not enlarge also the footer to use all the
available width, and probably we could drop some links from the hometoc
but these are details.
IMHO you can already apply this patch and close the BR :)

Cheers,
Francesca

Hi,

i played around a bit with our main page today, to have it better

The change i did was quite trivial:

This are my thoughts about it (quoted from a mail sent to debian-www):

As MJ Ray pointed out, also on my Samsung Galaxy search box and download
box overlap the logos but apart from that the page looks a big
improvement.
IMHO we could create a mobile.css in which remove the left and right
margins from the content (which on a smartphone sounds like a waste of
space).
I also think that for the mobile version of the homepage we'd need to
remove some of the current content: as the space is less (and the screen
is smaller) we need to list only the essential parts of the page.
For example, I'd cut off the spacefun banner.
But we need to identify the essential parts (what the user is searching
on our website while browsing it with a smartphone?).

What do you think about it?

Cheers,
Francesca

Hi Jonathan,
first of all thank you for working on this. :)

reproduce it yesterday.

What happens if you use chromium http://www.nytimes.com/; (or some other
pages)? Is this specific to the new tab page, to some family of pages, or
does it happen for all pages?

It happens with the new tab page and most pages: btw I've noticed that
it not happens with planet.debian.org or www.debian.org. But it happens
with the nytimes one.

Does (temporarily) removing the Flash plugin help?

Nope.

Does it print any messages to the console before you hit ^C?

Nope, it doesn't.

Could you run chromium with --debug, catch it when it's hanging, hit
 ^C, and get a backtrace? http://wiki.debian.org/Chromium/Debugging
 explains how.

Ok, attached.

Let me know if you need further informations.

Cheers,

Hi,
I found the same problem: the first time I start Chromium it doesn't load
pages - or loads it partially - and ends up with the The following pages
have become unresponsive. You can wait for them to become responsive or
kill them message.
As Torbjörn said, if I close it and reopen all goes smoothly. I also have
noticed that, even after closing Chrome, there are a lot of
/usr/lib/chromium/chromium --password-store=detect processes around.

I have the same message after hitting ^C to terminate it:

Handling SIGINT.
Successfully wrote to shutdown pipe, resetting signal handler.
Handling SIGINT.
Check failed: g_shutdown_pipe_write_fd != -1

and I can reproduce it easily with the commands provided by Torbjörn.
I have flashplugin-nonfree and adblockplus plugins installed.
And, different from Torbjörn I have not Iceweasel installed (but luakit).

If other tests or debugs are needed, I'll be happy to do it.

Cheers,
Francesca

Bug#567781: update on the utf-8 conversion

2011-05-27 Thread Francesca Ciceri
Hi all,
portuguese has been converted today, by agreement with
debian-l10n-portuguese (and with their help).

So, thanks also Rhonda's great work on /english/ pages, the situation is:

$ grep CHARSET */.wmlrc |grep -vi utf | cut -d / -f1 | sort
croatian
czech
indonesian
korean
lithuanian
polish
spanish

i.e. Only 7 languages left! \o/
My next target would be spanish, if I'll find a spanish translator to
proofread the result (hint, hint!).

Cheers,
Francesca

I think that the recent conversion of the russian pages into UTF-8 has
indirectly solved the issue, as now I can't reproduce it (while I did it when
you've reported it).

So, do you still find this problem?

should say for debian.ch (and other such organisations, if they should come
to be listed here) the vendor is a Debian organisation instead of gives
all proceeds to Debian - debian.ch does have official status.

(As Luca said: this is not to single out debian.ch. There may be other
organsations with similar status that do their own merchandising -- Debian
UK? -- and the same holds for them, too.)

 cheers
 -- vbi

Yes, I understand that debian.ch (and similar organisation, as Debian UK
as you suggest) is a Debian sister (have an official status) AND give all
proceeds to Debian Project.
But, IMHO, for the specific purpose of the merchandise page (i.e. to inform
users of existence of Debian merchandise vendors) the more relevant information
is the one about the destination of the proceeds (as you have stated in a
previous mail user could be more happy to see that proceeds fully or partially
goes to Debian).

More important, there could be vendors who have not an official status but who
give all proceeds to Debian (and the the vendor is a Debian organisation
would be false and the categorization not exhaustive).

Last but not least, at that point we would be obliged to list every Debian
sisters (or to be correct Debian Trusted Organization): as the DPL (added in
CC) said to me yesterday on IRC this kind of list already exists
(http://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Auditor/Organizations) and Debian Auditors take
care of it. Adding it also in the merchandise page could turn out in
unwanted duplication of information.

BTW, I think that the Debian Trusted Organization list deserves a specific
place on the website as it's a very official page and important page.

Cheers,
Francesca

Done. The changes will be visible in few hours.

More importantly: on one hand, we don't endorse any specific vendor, but
otoh debian.ch isn't a commercial vendor but the money owned by it is fully

Yes, debian.ch *is* a special case, no matter what other people say. It
is a special case exactly as any other *official* Debian sister

Yes, I agree that we need a special case for these sister association,
but *only* if, as Adrian already wrote in his reply, the money that they

 Thx, bye,

I'm not completely sure to have understand your request.
If you're asking for a further entry for vendors, with a statement of which
part of the income goes to Debian (and/or if a part of the income goes to
Debian), IMO we can add it.

In that case, my patch would be something like the attached ones (for now I've
added data about proceeds only for debian.ch - in the patch - if we'll all
agree on it I'll collect data also about others vendors).

Note that as I'm not a native english speaker the statements added in the
patch need a proofread.

So, what you think about it?

You're right. I'll avoid any changes if there won't a translator of the

BTW, in the meanwhile also russian, has migrated to UTF-8.
So now languages that don't use UTF-8 are:

$ grep CHARSET */.wmlrc |grep -vi utf | cut -d / -f1 | sort
chinese
croatian
czech
english
indonesian
korean
lithuanian
polish
portuguese
spanish
swedish

(I've manually deleted romanian which is a false positive)

Only 11 languages left.
We knows that chinese needs squeeze upgrade (on wolkenstein?) to convert to
utf-8.

specific page for bootchartd (bootchartd.1).
Hope this helps, patches attached.

Bug#601337: www.debian.org: move events/talks/ and events/speakers/ to the wiki

Hi,

On Wed, Nov 03, 2010 at 04:08:56PM +0100, Javier Fernández-Sanguino Peña wrote:

Rather than moving it to the wiki and dropping the current page I
 would be more comfortable with:

 - the wiki: having a full list of historic talks, so that people can

 - the web: provide content for basic introductory talks (and/or
templates) which others can use as a basis for their own
presentations. With a goal similar to the one that
http://www.debian.org/events/material has, i.e.: provide the tools for
Debian Developers to give *new* talks.

Would that be a better approach?

I like Javier approach, but I'd like to try to propose an alternative.

As far as I've understood the main problem is that the www page is
chronically outdated because no one seems to care about it now *and* because
is quite boring add content in a wml file (or maybe more boring than in a wiki
page).
I think also that many people (DDs included) totally ignore the existence of
that page. ;)

So my proposal is to maintain the talks page on www, but to manage that as the
Who's using Debian? stuff: with submissions (see this page [1])
This afternoon I've modified the list of talks, turned it upside-down to show
the more recent at the top, as Rhonda suggested.
I can easily mantain the page updated if we created a paragraph in which
explained how send mails on www list, with appropriate infos with a sort of
submission form.
Another important condition is to improve the visibility of the page: if
people don't know that there's the possibility of submitting their slides
there's no chance that they submitting it. (/me is very sorry for her
evident assertion).

What you think about it?

Bug#224331: Shipping Clerk - flexible time work-at-home opening

2007-09-30 Thread Francesca

Our company is looking for energetic and accountable individuals to occupy
Shipping Clerk positions throughout the USA. These vacancies are entirely
home-based and do not require any travel or relocation. They are also
suitable for students and senior citizens who are able to dedicate up to
three business hours per day to their duties. No special qualifications are
required, although previous shipping or customer service experience is a
plus. We are an international company providing mail/internet order
opportunities for a global clientele since 1997. We are based in Russia, and
also have offices in Latvia and Kazakhstan. Our business provides
online/Online Order facilities for those who are unable to benefit from the
convenience of e-commerce due to lack of a banking relationship with an
internationally recognized bank or because major online vendors will not
ship to their location. We have domestic purchasing agents who place the
orders on behalf of our clients, and the goods are then shipped to the local
shipping clerks for further sorting and international shipment. We also
provide escrow services for high amount and/or web auction orders, and offer
assistance with customs clearance, if required. Currently, we are looking
for individuals to fill in the positions of shipping clerks throughout the
USA. Your duties will include receiving, sorting, repackaging and re-sending
the orders made on behalf of our clients using the pre-paid USPS shipping
labels that you will receive via email. You will be paid $20 for each parcel
that you ship, plus $5 for each order that you will need to re-sort or
re-package. We will also cover any other authorized expense, such as extra
insurance or shipping materials. Your remuneration will be remitted to you
via Western Union twice a month. You can expect to handle 5-15 incoming
packages weekly, following a 2 week probation period. You can perform your
duties from the convenience of your home. You will generally be re-shipping
the orders on same day or next day basis, so you will not need to sacrifice
your home space to storage. You will only be receiving orders placed with
reputable online vendors and delivered by major courier services, such as
FedEx and UPS, who pay great attention to ensuring that they are not
involved into trafficking any illegal substances or hazardous materials.
Thus, there will be no risk on your end. We also encourage you to open and
inspect each package that you receive to ensure the legitimacy and safety of
itsâ content. In order to fill the shipping clerk position, you need to be
aged 18 and above, have a permanent address where you are available on a
regular basis and also have access to phone and email. In order to ensure
that you can be entrusted the client merchandise, we will need to verify
your identity and confirm that you do not have any previous criminal
convictions. To apply for this position and for more information on our
company, please fax your resume and (optionally) cover letter to: (309)

It is not enough to do your best; you must know what to do, and THEN do your best.	W. Edwards Deming
Toren came to me at age 32 months. He had 2 words: Ma Ma and Bye Bye. He could not focus, but ran around the room. His mother was convinced I was going to have him cured by his third birthday. I told her I was no miracle worker, but we'd do what we could during the next 4 months. Immediately we started structuring Toren's day. I went home and worked up a program called 'Toren's Nouns'. The first day I showed Toren the program, he looked at it for 10-15 seconds and then left the computer. The next day he stayed about 30 seconds. Each day he built up more time at the computer. By the second week, he would sit on my lap for 10 minutes pressing whichever word he wanted to hear. But he spoke no sounds, no words. Three weeks passed. I began berating myself. 'See, Jo, you thought this noun program was so great. Look at Toren, he's not learning anything.' The fourth week Toren walked over to the computer, picked up the overlay from the IntelliKeys keyboard, pointed to 10 different words
and approximated each word. That day, I cried.
Don't those singers dislike playing carelessly?

Bug#291554: evolution: uses first account instead default one when sending mail

2005-01-21 Thread Francesca Mazzoni
Package: evolution
Version: 2.0.3-1.1
Severity: normal

I have two accounts, let's say account A and account B. My default
account is B. When I compose a new message, if I do not change explicitly
the sender address by choosing B account, the e-mail is sent using
account A, which is the first one that appears on the list but is not
the default one. I think account B should be used instead.
