had a similar issue. Two things are needed to get it working:
1) Install "gnome-tweaks", start it and enable the "Ubuntu appindicators"
extension.
2) Edit the file ~/.config/autostart/Flameshot.desktop and replace the "Exec"
line to delay the startup a litte:

I noticed that the TV screen comes back after about 1 minute. I did

This script is obviously not made to be called from command line. A
lot of other HAL scripts have the same behaviour. They work fine
when called by HAL.

The dispatcher scripts do not help in my case. I need to ifconfig
up the interface before the wireless parameters can be applied. If
I write such an pre-up script, it shows not effect because
network-manager takes the interface down and then again up AFTER
executing this script.
