I'm opening this bug not just to complain but because a patch is
available to
restore the old functionality, but it was not accepted upstream.²
After having this issue with the latest version of iceweasel in
experimental (26.0-1) i tried to switch the user agent to firefox 25 with
User Agent Switcher extension and the menu now works. So i think the
problem is due to medium.com not iceweasel.
