The problem was that I had to update the firmware of the dvd-burner. So
you can close this bug.
However, it would be helpful if the error message hints that one should

I had chosen to install the xkb-data package, but at the bugreport I
saw that it wasn't for some reason. So I
installed xkb-data again and now the keyboard seems to work for me.
