An upgrade to a 6.1 kernel may fix the bug.

Could you give us more details?
Sure, these are however also in the PR.
Ok, I haven't seen the original bug before, as it was not sent to the list.
Anyway kfreebsd-i386
.

the C function ustat() since glibc 2.0 and in HP-UX. You can't simply
remove it and standard.
linux-libc-dev should not directly export a kernel structure. Either
remove it or use #ifdef __KERNEL__, but don't bother us with that.

favour of the generic compat code.
As it is actually a kernel bug, I am reassigning it to the linux-2.6
package.

-4.1 -8 to -11 (see #428509). The changes in gcc
that trigger the failure (currently reduced to about 300 lines) are not
hppa specific. Maybe the two problems are related.

Is the libc6 the only thing that you updated? I am using the same libc
here, paer.debian.org also uses it in the sid chroot, and I am unable to
reproduce the problem.

I have just done an NMU to fix this bug. Please find the diff attached.

this
syscall. It has been released 6 months ago, when 2.6.19 was still not
released... How did you get this syscall number?

this syscall unconditionaly. It first tries to do a
statfs64 syscall, and falls back to a statfs one if the return value is
ENOSYS.
It really looks like a bug in the kernel.

the glibc maintainers for comment; you can find the code that does
this under ports/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/arm/.
This code is actually present on all architectures. I am currently
trying to see what makes arm different.

gambas2 no longer builds from source on numerous *32-bit* architectures.

This is a bug in lib32ncurses5, not in libc6-i386.

that. Same for arm, and arm porters don't seem to care that much, so
maybe we should drop arm as a release architecture?
What make you think that? The build failure is known for less than 3
days, please let us time to fix that.
