Rob - see below, you might want to subscribe to the bug too. Suggestion is to use firmware .iso and a more verbose dd line to ensure you've actually written the whole image correctly. Also, I would suggest enabling TPM and secure boot unless you are *absolutely* sure that you don't need them.

Hi, I think I found the reason.  While copying the logfile I remembered that I used wget twice with "-c" option.  After downloading the first bytes, I remembered, that my batch terminal will close automatically. So I stopped my batch and started it again in a terminal. Now "weg -c" continued
