Hi,
I'll answer this, since I've been using Jigdo a lot recently. Pre14 is very similar to
the current version, and so no more than about 100 or so files per disk (out of about
1400 or so) should be different. However, if you are scanning image files on your HD
in Linux, you have to mount
One thing you can do is use an http server instead of an ftp server. An http server
lets you stay connected.

It'll only reconnect for every 10 files. At least the latest version
does, you may have to

Probably ought to go somewhere on the www.d.o/CD/ pages, so we can
change it as hosts go up down. Also, the the 3.0 rev0 CD

The only way this could happen with 0.6.8 is if you originally

I've created a customised Debian install CD, available at:

Thanks for the reply. I'm having much better luck today. It seems

Sorry my questions were not so direct.

Philip,
Download works.
Install works.
Just have to find a Utility that works under deb ( cdrecord does not seem to
work well with an HP 200i) that will allow me to burn dvd-rw.
Had to burn the Iso under a Win box, but that's ok for now.
Thanks,

I see that the new distribution has seven CDs. Are all of these
required/neccessary/desirable?
Is there a page somewhere that discusses this that I haven't found. Where?
Thanks

You can start installing from floppies and continue using the net.
So the number of required CDs is zero.
If you want to install from CDs, the minimum number is one.
