Anyone got time to try to figure out why proftp is no longer serving
data?
I finally had time to have a look, and discovered that the problem was
that the sql module was enabled for proftpd. This did not work (not
configured, not supposed to be enabled
/krb5.conf did not have the expected values.
The automatic setup of Kerberos had failed. Not sure how this could
happen.

I expected the NIS netgroup module in Gosa to change the netgroup member

is really needed, and adjust the code in svn to try to avoid the
problem.
It needed 4461 MiB in /var/, significantly more than the current
minimum size of 3904 that was in the partmap recipe. I've

I installed tjener with netinst CD, yes (all the rest via PXE).
Ah, PXE, right. You also have to update
tjener:/etc/debian-edu/www/debian-edu-install.dat to use wheezy and
not wheezy-test on the future PXE installs.

these last sentences are pure speculations.
It depend on how close we are to the limit, as the packages on the ISO
do not need space in /var/. Also, as Wolfgang pointed out, it will
only trigger with a very small disk.

/tmp, or to get it to call PAM when changing uid (to create its own
directory under /tmp/user/), or to get it to open the files in /tmp/
