I use it in the same way the regular uic-qt4 is used: you call it at
compile time to generate the code that builds up

Q: How do Debian developers play Russian rulette?
A: Everone contributes a key revocation certificate and chooses a number
from one to ten
kdm doesn't like nfs/nis/autofs. also strange, i've been able
to start fluxbox using kdm with no problems.
What version of KDM where you upgrading from? What type of session did
the users select. And, any relevant log entries on /var/log/kdm.log,
or ~/.xsession-errors?

OK, this bug is reported upstream already. Bastian, as indicated in
the above URL, you can workaround this until it gets fixed by using
kaddressbok entries.
