Hey,
I'd like to join pkg-ruby-extras team as I intend to package
ruby-beautify and ruby-aws.
While I am a senior software developer, my Debian packaging experience
is limited to helping with maintaining how-can-i-help package. But I am
eager to learn and I do like to read documentation! :)

Hey,
After a long journey during which I made friends with some devtools that
I didn't even know existed, I've finally finished packaging my first
ruby package - ruby-beautify.
I've checked:
- builds fine under pbuilder
- installs and runs fine under schroot
- autopkgtest-pkg-ruby reports no test

Hey,
I'm working on packaging ruby-aws (gems for interfacing with Amazon Web
Services [1]). I do have a few questions about packaging it:
1. Because of the nature of aws, a few tests require internet access and
AWS account (+ generated AWS key). During the first run of those tests,
user is asked
Hey,
We have quite a few Debian Continuous Integration [1] test failures.
Some of those failures were caused by minor testing issues [2] that
don't affect package usability and can be easily fixed. However, I
wonder what is our current policy about those failures:
1. Should we file a bug report f

Hey,
May I kindly ask for sponsorship of ruby-beautify (0.97.3-1) (changelog
commit 2684a1705768e8ac31036f5b4d3ad276a537b42d)?
It is almost the same version I packed during our last Ruby Sprint - the
only changes are:
- New upstream (few minor fixes)
- Added missing import for rspec tests

Hey,
May I ask for sponsorship of ruby-aws (2.10.2-2) (changelog commit
3516062559025b261819a940980504903bf7c32d)?
This is the same gem version that is already in the repository - two
fixes were added:
- Conflicts with ruby-aws-sdk (they both provide the same functionality
but their files collide

Hey,
One of the files of the recently uploaded ruby-base32 did conflict with
ruby-aws [1][2]. Pirate Praveen already fixed it in ruby-base32 [3] but
since the conflicting file seems to be really generic

Hey,
I've updated ruby-aws-sdk (new upstream, some minor changes). I'd
appreciate if someone could take a look and upload it. Thanks :)

Thanks! :)
Just one question - if a gem/package doesn't contain any tests, should
we always add 'Testsuite' field?

Hey,
ruby-aws-sdk started to fail during CI run [1] due to ruby-json version
requirement. This issue was (hot)fixed in Ubuntu version [2][3] so I've
ported their patch to us. Additionally, I've refreshed the package
(changed vcs to salsa, updated dates and http links, etc.). Please
