icedtea experiences?

Hi folks, what are your experiences with icedtea-plugin? I noticed, that sometimes some java-plugins do not work, but with the orginina java-plugin they do. So it looks like, the icedtea-browser-plugin might be special. Does someone know more? At the moment I had to deinstall icedtea-plugins.
