I am running Debian stretch on a pc with an AMD FX 8350 chip and a

I am interested to check a few things are working as they would be expected

L'équipe des mainteneurs de TDE ont des difficultés

qui marche parfaitement sous Debian.
TDE est un bureau idéal, un KDE-4 léger et rapide,
