Colleagues, I can't figure out what I've done wrong. I did a fresh install of Stretch, with backports enabled, and Gnome desktop, using the default kernel as highlighted. When I reboot, I get a kernel panic. I can SOMETIMES boot in by entering recovery mode. I also have Jessie and Wheezy

XFCE Panel to the bottom

I have just installed Debian 8 32 bit XFCE. I've removed the bottom "dock" panel because I don't need it. I've added the Whisker menu onto the top panel menu. Now I'd like to move the top panel from it's default position on the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen, but I can't figure out

Network Manager service sometime crashing how to debug

After boot I sometime have no network because netwirk-manager service crashed. I see nothing in the logs, and starting it manually works. How can I debug the cause of those crashes ? Thanks.
