know that wi-fi works for some people
with ndiswrapper.
As for Thinkpads, I am so used to Hyper keys on the keyboard (aka
Windows-key :)) that I found these notebooks very uncomfortable.

I would like mutt to not automatically download the attachement when
they are too big.
There isn't any way to do this with Mutt. It will always download the
entire message and parse it locally. PINE might be a better option for
you if this is important.

Dear Michelle,
Sorry, I was wrong. Two days ago I configured Mutt to work with my

Strictly speaking, no. Still, there is RFC 3028 which allows mail
clients to control mail filtering remotely.

I wonder, why it is gem.conf instead of gdm.conf... What if you link

Any ideas?
Thank you.

a tool like dump, xfsdump (for xfs), cpio or
tar and remake the filesystem before restoring.
Or send the dd output to a file instead of a partition. Then you can
use the free space on the target partition for other files.

grinds to a halt.
I observed the same problem on IBM Thinkcentre M51 with dual core CPU.
The problem showed up in Fedora and Debian. I got rid of these
lock-ups by adding the following kernel options:
noht acpi=no
