Schon möglich. Aber sollte nicht dnsmasq diese DNS-Anfrage aus seinem
Cache beantworten können?? Da hört's halt mit meinem Wissen auf...
Der Cache veraltet nach einer Zeit. Dann fragt dnsmasq wieder erneut
an.

Ersatz für KDE und Gnome finden würde, bei dem alles aus einem Guß ist.
(und einem nicht immer gleich Windoze (TM) in Gesicht brüllt).

sonstwer eine Antwort hat, maile ich Dich an.
Fazit: ich lebe mit den nervigen fetchmail-Meldungen und gut ist...
Probiere doch mal das BASH-Script von mir in das ip-up-Script von
fetchmail reinzukopieren (an den Anfang).
