I have added a wrong line in my fstab file and when linux starts I have
many errors.
Under root I can open fstab with mc (or xemacs) but read only and Ican't
change it.
I have not a rescue floopy .
How can I restore my fstab ?

If you prefer a simpler method simply use dselect to uninstall xdm or
whatever X login you are using. When you come up in a console mode launch X
using startx.

I have done something to my box ( I was using unstable for a while and ran
out of disk space ), I do not have perl on my box anymore :-(
I tried apt-get install perl but this uses /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure which
is a perl scrit! So how can I put perl onto this box in a neat way?
