Problems with old shadow-passwd

I installed the three shadow packages from experimental quite a while ago. I now find that when I try to upgrade them to the latest version of passwd that I get this message: # dpkg -i /debian/passwd_961025-2.deb dpkg: regarding /debian/passwd_961025-2.deb containing passwd: passwd conflicts
