I'm using xfce on jessie.
It's convenient that I can get the top icon bar to minimize until the
mouse pointer reached it; I have a small screen. It's occasionally
convenient to be able to left-click on the little handle at the left and
move it elsewhere by moving the pointer while holding

is installed, the keyboard+mouse freeze. I tried also to install from 7.x.x
firmware-non-free : it didn't do better.
My keyboard and mouse are Logitech.
Nota : I have the same issue with the Ubuntu last release (13.x) so I
guess it's a kernel
issue but I have no idea

Envia a saída do dmesg (/var/log/message) quando você pluga o mouse e
quando você remove o plug do carregador. Assim podemos analisar seu
problema.
Ps.: usa um pasterbin por exemplo para não ficar um email difícil de ler.

partition. this dell laptop has a disk size of about 8 gig, so we
partitioned the rest into amounts smaller than 3 gig, since my best

Depois de bastante tempo achei a solução para um problema antigo meu.
Estou respondendo com o mesmo título para ficar no histórico da lista.
Resumindo o problema era o seguinte, meu mouse USB (qualquer um) só
funcionava com o note ligado na tomada.

In my KDE4 based laptop I was using the option disabling the touchpad when
mouse is connected and when keyboard is used.
What's interesting: this option was available when touchpad configuration was displayed separately in
the lost found section of system settings in KDE.

I guess I have two options. I can install the proprietary drivers (I
want to avoid this option) or I install the new radeon drivers from
backports.
The problem is that if I install the new driver from backports I have
to install the whole new xserver system from backports
