I have PC104 keyboard with windows keys, configured to behave as meta keys.
Since upgrade to lenny, olvwm doesn't understand the windows key properly -
I can't switch viewports using windows- or windows-F*. When olvwm
receives focus (which usually means meta key is not needed
ar98.

I did a complete reinstall and avoided X altogether. So far, so good.

Make olvwm the default window manager [Y]

some `startx >& /tmp/z'? you may be able to determine the error from
its output.
2) if not, you can try 'strace startx' to find out more.
usually, olvwm works quite well, so just keep trying, it's just the
question of time. good luck :-)

I get the same error. An X-session seems to start and then closes down
immediately.

I am trying to run olvwm. WHen I do I receive the following error

I just downloaded and installed olvwm. The
good news is that it seems I have finally
found a window manager that I like :-)
The bad news is that I can't get it to read the
menu definition file :-(
The system-wide file exists as /etc/X11/olvwm/openwin-menu

The olvwm package in unstable seems to need libc5 (>=5.4.17). There should be
libc5 version 5.4.17 in the base section of unstable. If not, then you
probably should check some other mirror site.
