Antes de inserir o memory stick execute o comando em um terminal:
# watch cat /proc/partitions
Dessa forma após conectar o dispositivo, será mostrado o nome do arquivo
correspondente em /dev. Aí é só montar:
# mount /dev/dispositivo /mnt
