Il est très peu probable que free offre un accès ssh à ses pages persos,
en tout cas je ne l'ai jamais entendue dire. La solution serais

la última versión estable de Debian. Squeeze ha sido liberada como ya

Você checou se os usuários estão logando no diretório correto? Já vi problemas
parecidos quando os usuários logavam direto no raiz em vez do seu diretório
