I'm running Debian 2.1 and am trying to install the
latest secure version of Apache 1.3.9. It actually
installed fine, it's just not starting. When I
attempt to start the server, it says it can't open
libm.so.5. I'm pretty new to Linux and had no idea
how or where to find the library package
I'm trying to get a program I installed to start, but
it says it needs libdb.so.3. How do I know what .deb
package to install that will provide that library?
Thanks,
John

/lib/libdb.so.3 is part of libc6 in potato.
I'm running slink. How do would I know that
libdb.so.3 is part of libc6 on slink? I can't find it
documented. I even downloaded the file you suggested,
