programmers manual' which I don't think I
am the target audience for. I would like the complete procedure for
building binary and source .deb files. A small sample walk-through
would be nice. If anyone can point me to this information or send me

Due to copyright problems there's only a qmail-src package. You
have to install it and compile the package yourself. This will
produce a qmail.deb that you can install.

I used RedHat through version 5.1 before switching to Debian. Here are a few
of the reason I stuck with Debian and continue to do so.
- More packages distributed with the base system.
- I believe the dpkg package management is much better than RedHat

If there is one feature that I would LOVE to see in dselect it would be to
save all the packages I have selected and allow my to load the selection on a

I upgraded to slink now when I run X I get some error about Xwrapper and not

You need to add 'nemanuel' to the Postgresql system. I think the command is

I recently installed Debian 2.2 on one of my systems. I also have a RedHat
6.2 system. On my redhat system Xemacs-21 colorizes text in ttys that support
color such as rxvt and xterm. It colorizes almost exactly the same as when
running in its own X window. However on my Debian 2.2 system
I have 2 Debian 2.2 boxes, one setup as a server the other as a client. I
have been able to get as far as PAP authentication. The problem is that the
server does not seem to be able to identify it local IP address to the client.
