Hi!
Has anybody managed to compile the Ptolemy in debian?
I know, that there is a deb package available at Vigo university
(Spain), but it didn't work for me, and there was no source version of
package to check what is wrong...
The original sources obtained from Berkeley fail to compile
I have downloaded it a few days ago, so I suppose it was the second
version.
After running pigi I get something like this:
PI initialization error (I don't remember the exact message, because I've
purged the deb package and started to experiment with rebuilding from
original sources)
What about autoconf utility?
From man autoconf:

Hi!
I've just tested the aladdin ghostscript 5.50, and stated that it has
fixed some annoying bugs in pdfwrite driver.
I'm just wondering if it is available somewhere as the debian package?
TIA

Can you tell me if you get any error message with dpkg of Ptolemy packages ?
dpkg installs it without any warning/error messages.
It fails just after running pigi.
