Which version of sawmill are you using? I just tried their current beta (6.4b5) and
it crashed hard while processing Imail logs and didn't even recognized the Declude log
format.

I was playing with their latest Beta this morning and it didn't seem to recognize the
Declude logs...but maybe it just did not recognize LOGLEVEL MID. I'll play around
with it some more.

Are you using IMail Filters and Declude Filters? Did it fail any declude
tests? Is it happening on all emails?

I have sent them a sample Declude log (with loglevel MID) and the output
when I try to run it. We'll see what they say.

I'm not using any imail filter just declude filters
I can't find it in the vir*.log or the dec*.log
here is one of the log entries from the sys*.log
I think I know what it happening but I don't know how to fix it. The problem
I think has something to do with
This is the first of the five from the log

And there is the problem.

I received the below email from the NJABL list. They are changing their
formatting. Up to this time we have been just using the following line
in the global.cfg file
NJABL ip4rdnsbl.njabl.org 127.0.0.2
3 0
With these changes I would imagine in order to use
Same server and official domain name nothing in the hosts file
So I should change my dns to point mail.ptsi.net at 207.50.0.14?
or
In imail lulu.ptsi.net is the official host name and the TCP/IP Address is
207.50.0.14 so should I make a cname record mail.ptsi.net lulu.ptsi.net?
lulu.ptsi.net
So I should change my dns to point mail.ptsi.net at 207.50.0.14?
You shouldn't do anything until you know what you want to happen to mail
addressed to @mail.ptsi.net:
[1] Do you want it not to be delivered?
[2] Do you want it to be delivered to the same location as if it was sent
to
[1] must be delivered
[2] yes same as @ptsi.net
[2a]stored on the same mail server

So I should
In that case, you must get IMail to recognize that @mail.ptsi.net is a
local domain.
If you have mail.ptsi.net as a host alias (domain alias) for ptsi.net, it
should fix the problem (just be sure that you don't have a line with
mail.ptsi.net in it, in the HOSTS file).

That depends on what you have in the spamfile.txt file (it will need to be
in a format that Declude JunkMail understands).
If it just contains E-mail addresses and domains you do not want to
right now its just domains. I would like them to be deleted automatically

In that case, you can set up a sender blacklist. First, add a line (to
your \IMail\Declude\global.cfg file) such as:
MYBLACKLIST fromfile c:\imail\declude\mylist.txt x 5 0
Then, add this line to your
23 matches
