I've looked in the logs and found the following error reported: DNS Server (gives the IP) returned a SERVER FAILURE error for MX or A for (gives the domain). It's actually the IMail SMTP log file entries (SMTP or SMTP-) that you want to look at for problems delivering mail to remote mailservers.
