Same problem here. I would add that any flash content does this for me.
Browser windows disappear when closed but they are still in memory.
Opening (and eventually closing) further windows leads to huge CPU and
memory consumption and finally epiphany crashes.
One remarkable thing is with killing
For me, a switch to compiz-fusion caused the problem you described. My
system is up-to-date, running with nvidia-glx-new drivers and is using a
compiz-fusion repository being updated daily.
I just switched from nvidia-glx to nvidia-glx-new on another machine
also having compiz-fusion installed.

uninstalling the package solves the problem. I have not been able to
find out which specific extension causes the problem.

I am experiencing the same problem. If special characters are used in
the track names, SoundJuicer just quits. Ofcourse, this can be solved by
marking the option strip special characters but then all the
characters (including spaces) are transformed into underscores_

I have the same problem with mounting and umounting my Lacie drive.
This is not a bug fix but a compromise I found.
I tried messing with my /etc/fstab file and was unsuccessful. I found,
however, that my /etc/mtab file recognized my drive as /dev/sdb1 which I
was able to painfully unmount with

Hi, having browsed through the Gutsy milestones the first entry entry
that I found is for Ubuntu 7.10 Beta scheduled for release on the 27th
of September. Just over two months away.
I'm curious as to why this is the case as,
a) an upstream fix has been released,
b) the bug has been rated as high

After initializing Ubuntu-Desktop-Effects from System menu, clicking and
dragging window title bars did nothing, nor did clicking the icon in top
left corner and choosing 'Move'. The window stays in one spot. That
applied to any open window. Using

Effects tab under Preferences: Appearance, after the system had
finished booting.
The indication from the button (pressed/not pressed) is working for me
