Solved my Feisty problem too. My laptop was experiencing this startup latency
issue when i had no network connection.
It seems that it's trying to resolve the hostname. Adding the hostname to
127.0.0.1 solves the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You think that they should be put in the Images menu just
because there's enough space or some other strong reason? because it
doesn't make too much sense for me moving it just because there's space.
