If you enable your local X server to listen on TCP/IP (on most GNOME desktops,
edit /etc/gdm/gdm.conf (may be /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf depending on

Oh come on! Include a graphic equalizer in Rhythmbox ... Gstreamer
already has the plugin available just give it a GUI!!
It's only on issues like this that I regret using GNOME. If GTK+/C

Note I didn't use emblem-foo, I preferred other icons (the most taken
from mimetypes) because they have more colors: emblems are just white
and orange. Do you want to see a screenshot with classic emblems?

when adding directories to the list of things to be burned on a DVD, it is not
possible to remove hidden subdirectories.
E.g. if I want to add my home directory, but then to remove $HOME/.cache the
directory .cache is not listed in the

bug. And no, it's nothing for the wishlist. Its something that doesnt

For me all photos ended up in my home directory without sub-directories
for dates. So after moving all my photos to the right place a slight
modification of Martijn's database update was needed. Note that all the
filenames for my photos start with dsc. I hope this is useful to

Yep, same here. trying to open Computer or Places/Computer gives
the DBus Error etc. Karmic daily build 12 June 09, Ext 4. I've
reinstalled Nautilus and gvfs to no effect.
This bug has been live for over a year, covering several releases of
Ubuntu, and still hasn't been addressed. Whoever
the bug tracker is not a forum for lol comments, if you want this bug to

On Jaunty, I have Brasero 2.26.1.
For a Data CD, this option (and also the 2 under) is still grey. I want to
uncheck it, but it is not possible.

mkisofs offers a built-in find(1) command since 3 years

At this time Totem is working on my system. I believe that what happens
is that one of the many sound systems (pulse, esd, alsa, oss) gets
stuffed up, and totem stops working because it happens to use that
interface. It seems like Skype is what usually leads to the messed up
sound system.

Using Karmic, gnome-power-manager doesn't work fine. It won't detect
that the battery is discharging or even running on battery. Also, when

My system has suddenly developed this problem (Jaunty). It occurs across
all viewers---evince, okular, gv, and xpdf---and in both dvi and pdf

In Linux Mint 7 the last pdftops is working.
That is: I tested it on printing this very webpage from firefox on a networked
HP Laserjet 4000 printer and it comes directly out of the printer with the
recommended Postscript printerdriver. Also first print to a pdf file and print

I'm having the same problems in Ubuntu 9.04 and in LInux Mint 7 (based
on 9.04) I can't connect to any smb share on windows machines or on
networkdrives.
