I think this is the way to bring this bug to their attention. I am also

So the issue is that apport's .desktop file is _only_ providing a MIME
type link. Apparently lots of people try to unhide that from alacarte
(the menu editor) and then complain that it doesn't work.
There does not seem to be a way to tell alacarte don't ever show this.

Another comment is that this bug not only happens in Desktop JPEG
images... it happens when making some copypaste and deletion of images
or pictures is the Pictures folder... in my case I maintain certain
order of pictures in some folders and happens when I download images
from my mobile phone...
Exactly the same problem, this is my screenshot and it can be read
in the yellow info box over the system monitor in the panel..

When entering the password for sudo, the cursor doesn't move, asterisks
don't show, etc. Solutions:
1. Asterisks should Show when entering the password
2. Gnome-Terminal should tell the user when first opening terminal that the
sudo
An update; for those wondering:
