I had similiar symptoms and found this issue report. Using 10.04 and
evince 2.30.3, the top margin is too big and the bottom is too small.
CUPS is working fine and man:lpoptions -l shows the correct PageSize.
Other programs (e.g. a2ps) print accurately.

I'm seeing a similar problem (also using Rhythmbox 0.13.1).
Usually the last.fm plugin only scrobbles the first song and misses
everything played after that. Sometimes it is able to scrobble correctly
though. And one more observation: my last.fm profile will display the
correct listening now

OK. I found out that rhythmbox is now inside the sound menu.
Nevertheless, hit the play button (in the main gui or in the sound menu)

That's interesting - my laptop runs quadrapassel OK and it's got a 945GM
(without the E - I don't know what that E gives you!)
and the output is very similar to yours (included). The only difference I can
see are a difference in the visuals (why?).

This happens with a real printer as well; gimp-Epson C86 - it prints a
blank page. Note the page prints incredibly quickly - so it's not as if
it's misrendering it, it's just spitting the page out.
Shotwell and Firefox print fine.

'Company' on #gtk+ reckons that Cairo 1.10 is much more fussy about
missing calls to cairo_surface_mark_dirty than earlier versions. I can
see gimp is making some calls to that - whether it's making all the
right ones, well that's a different question.

and now it functions correctly.
