Improving the text is easiest and probably best. It not that common to
have more than partition on an usb memory, though if you have it, it is
somewhat suprising to see both of them disapear :-)

I would say : improve the text ? "Unmount" is a technical word anyway
and needs to be changed (there's a bug about that I think).

Well mostly as Manu said it is somewhat inconsistent and it does not do
what you expect. On the other hand sometimes it is very convenient to
have both partitions unmounted at the same time.

I spent a fair amount of time to teach eject to do exactly that: unmount
all partitions of a device before powering off the device. Since
unmounting all partitions of a drive one by one, unmounting them all at
once saves
