[Bug 523796] [NEW] Startup list does not save changes randomly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-session Hi, gnome-session-properties sometimes fails saving changes in the Startup list. [Bug 393102] Re: Ubuntu9.04 Nautilus Crash moving files through Network
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 425405] Re: Low disk space notification is a little useless
This isn't really the appropriate place to ask for support, and g-s-d probably isn't doing anything wrong in your case. It calculates the free space remaining after calling statvfs on the particular volume, so you probably really are running low on disk space. Please post the output of df -h so I can tell. And yes, filesystems do have limitations on how many files / folders can be stored, and how large the partition size can be etc. Those aren't bugs though, but rather limitations of the file system structure (eg, FAT32 has a maximum file size of 4GB and maximum partition size of 2TB). @Draycen - dpkg --get-selections | grep -v deinstall ubuntu-files gives me the following list that I've added as an attachment - does this give you what you need? For info, since setting up these machines and getting this bug, I have added some extra software packages from 3rd-party repos and PPAs - including Lotus Symphony 3.0 Beta, and GIMP 2.7.1 (unstable). So if you do some testing and try to set up a machine to reproduce this bug, there is no need to install these packages as I know they are not the cause of the problem. ** Attachment added: ubuntu-files http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39369534/ubuntu-files -- gnome-panel fails to start when desktop loads https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/518873 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
