I think Talika is the problem. I had Maverick on my laptop and in a
Virtualbox VM on an XP host. I had Talika on the laptop, but DockBarX on
the VM. Updated both to Natty. The VM went smooth, but I had no panels
on the laptop and the mouse cursor constantly went back and forth
between the arrow

SInce uninstalling Evolution, the same occurs here. Having one e-mail
client such as Thunderbird shopuld be enough to have a working Send
to: command, but it is not. Here's the output of ldd

Looking at the upstream bug, it appears that this is really a bug in
package gvfs.
Looking at the change made upstream on that package, and comparing with
the package gvfs that was released with natty, it appears that this
change has already been made.
Beside that, I repeat the steps outlined to
Not even installing Evolution solved the problem (even though Evolution
shouldn't be a dependency in any case...). It worked before upgrading to
11.04.

I agree, that's not ideal (one account does not support invisibility,
and invisibility is disabled across all of Empathy). But that is not
this bug -- this bug is already fixed.
Ankur/Rushi, I suggest you file a new bug about this problem, which can
be voted on and fixed independently of this one
I upgraded my laptop to Natty today and it does not have this issue; it
only happens when I boot from the livecd.

it almost seems like there should be an option to add this to an existing AIM
contact, and this feature is only half broken, as in people don't really know
it exists or how it works in empathy. From what I've seen it needs this format

Thanks Gunnar for providing a workaround. Disabling locale settings for
pygi calls might be an acceptable workaround for a natty stable update,
but I'll give the real pygobject bug some examination first. It needs to
be fixed either way, and if the fix is nonintrusive, we can SRU it as
well.
