create keyboard shortcuts with the Alt key (e.g. Alt-Y).
As I do not know the technical underpinnings, would the resolution of

I think this bug has a workaround. I'm not sure this will work on 12.04,
for I'm still using 11.10 and it worked there. The idea is to copy
/usr/share/gedit/plugins/latex/tools.xml over

hung, so I could not access Debug menu. Only an xkill or killall would
close empathy. The error would reoccur whenever I started empathy again.

So the question is. is it expected the user will know to create a
template in ~/Templates if only looking to have one for text Not to
put a text template in there
An Empty Document option is auto added once any template is in place,
if you add one for a plain text docu then you get 2 options

I have an external XFi USB soundcard. When I switch the card the volume
changes to 100%. That should be fixed. keep the same volume even if the
soundcard settings are changed. Same for switching to another sound

GNOME_SESSION_SAVE=TRUE does *NOT* work in Ubuntu 12.04 Classic (updated to
date, so with the released fix). No window/application is saved and
re-opened/re-launched on startup.

The good news is that this issue may have been fixed in Ubuntu precise
12.04. I just installed that on a new machine
i have the same problem in ubuntu 12.04
How can i get the fix?

The difference would be that this has been a default supplied option (r. clicck
new docu..) that users have have had available in prior Ubuntu releases for
