[Bug 1159390] Re: Ok
Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. Your report should contain, at a minimum, the following information so we can better find the source of the bug and work to resolve it. Submitting the bug about the proper source package is essential. For help see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Additionally, in the report please include: 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or System - About Ubuntu. 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or by checking in Synaptic. 3) What happened and what you expected to happen. The Ubuntu community has also created debugging procedures for a wide variety of packages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures . Following the debugging instructions for the affected package will make your bug report much more complete. [Bug 762918] Re: Natty Screensaver freezes system after some period of inactivity
Hi there, two days ago I started a new job and was allowed to install a Linux distribution of my liking on a Fujitsu machine with Core i3. I chose the 64bit Xubuntu 12.04 LTS version and tweaked it by running compiz and avant-window-navigator. The software setup is basically identical to the setup on my desktop machine at home and my notebook, which are working perfectly. I experienced my work machine to occasionally (once a day) freeze the X server, i.e. no response to keyboard input or mouse clicks, but the mouse cursor is still movable. In my case this has always happened while I was working on the local desktop of the machine. As mentioned in the duplicate bug #760769 remote access is working fine; I can even restart lightdm without getting rid of the problem. The log file /var/log/Xorg.0.log shows no hard evidence. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/762918 Title: Natty Screensaver freezes system after some period of inactivity To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/acpi/+bug/762918/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1164672] [NEW] Rhythmbox Times out when adding songs from smb:// sources as the collection.
Public bug reported: I am trying to have Rhythmbox utilize a smb share for it's main collection, via shares mounted with Nautilus.
