[Bug 1061195] Re: Evolution appears unable to create EWS or Exchange MAPI account
Hi, ending 2020 and still an issue :/ Using Debian 10, Evolution version 3.30.5-1.1. Trying to connect to Microsoft Exchange 2007. I just started Evolution for the 2d time, 1st after trying set up an EWS account, and all attempts I had done appeared in the account list at left. Now it just works, thanks! However, it confused me a lot. Specially no error messages, no logs at the shell, no nothing. People that isn't "techie and english-speaking", both at the same time, won't find this bugpage nor the askubuntu site, I'm afraid. If the issue can't be solved after 8 years, there must be a reason. Therefore, why not add a warning at the end of the wizard with "Please now restart Evolution" ?? Thank for making possible to stay in linux even when working for microsoft corporate environments. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution-data-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1061195 Title: Evolution appears unable to create EWS or Exchange MAPI account To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evolution-ews/+bug/1061195/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1872159] Re: Boot animation never finishes when external monitors (or just more than one) are connected
I noted this new comment: "I am used to having such problems with Nvidia graphics is involved, but this is not the case on this laptop. It has been happily running 18.04." In my case, I'm seeing this on machines that have been running *LTS 20.04* just fine UNTIL the updates to 20.04.1 started to roll out around September 12 or so. That's when the problems started. I started seeing this spinning logo hang in mid-September along with the initramfs errors on startup. Shortly after, I started seeing bug 1897185 (and other bug numbers as well) where the machine(s) go into suspend as soon as the login password is entered during startup. When I subsequently tried to reinstall Ubuntu, I encountered 1871268 and could not complete the reinstall. I have since managed to get around the install with third party drivers bug; but still encountered the initramfs problem, the spinning logo splash hangs, and the suspend after login password error... so these problems are pretty severe. Just thought you'd like to know that my experience with this problem occurred on machines that were running LTS 20.04 just fine until Ubuntu Updates mid-September. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1872159 Title: Boot animation never finishes when external monitors (or just more than one) are connected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/plymouth/+bug/1872159/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1900760] [NEW] gnome-shell very high %CPU usage while moving mouse on Ubuntu 20.04
Public bug reported: After upgrade from 18.04 to 20.04 I discovered that gnome-shell occasionally starts eating up unreasonably large CPU %. After some head scratching why on earth i thappens, it was clear that moving my mouse energetically I can get it as close to 100% as I want. If this is relevant, the mouse model is Corsair Harpoon wireless BT. I am reading some speculation that the cause of the problem is high polling rate for mouse location (?). It is suggested in this bug entry (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1848951) that this issue is fixed on late march.
